چکیده

Background: Psoriasis vulgaris is a recurrent chronic skin disorder signed by hyperproliferation and epidermal inflammation. One of the etiology psoriasis genetic factors related to polymorphism as disease susceptibility markers. This study was aimed analyze correlation TNF-α gene promoter region with vulgaris. Methods: An analytical observational cross-sectional design identify TNF-region polymorphisms vulgaris. included 45 patients non-psoriasis from April October 2016 at Immuno-dermatology Polyclinic Dermatology Venereology/Haji Adam Malik Hospital, Medan. We isolated DNA blood sample then ran into PCR process specific primers. results were examined electrophoresis 2% agarose. Chi-Square test used hypothesis relationship between significance P <0.05. Result: Analysis found significant in -308G (p=0,001) 1031 (p=0,002) loci. Conclusion: -1031 more frequent case group, commonly control group. Both them significantly correlated

Association of Tumor Necrosis Factor-α (TNF-α) -308G>A and -238G>A Polymorphisms with Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Risk: A Meta-Analysis

Background: Studies have been carried out to evaluate the association of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) gene promoter region polymorphisms with recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) risk. However, the results remain controversial and incomplete. Hence, we performed a meta-analysis to evaluate the association of TNF-α -308G>A and -238G>A polymorphisms with RPL risk. Materials and Methods: A comprehens...

Evaluation of Tumor Necrosis Factor Alpha Polymorphism Frequencies in Endometriosis

Background The pro-inflammatory cytokine, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), is a pathogenic element for a number of disorders. Previous studies have reported that the -1031 T/C and -238 G/A polymorphisms in the promoter region of the TNF-α gene are important factors in reproductive-related disorders. One of the most common gynecological diseases of women during the reproductive years is endo...
